Alphington Village Growth

The chart below shows the growth of Alphington from 1930 to 2020, based on a constant area, so is unaffected by boundary changes. Official population figures give a false indication of the growth of Alphington. Over some periods the figures have drastically decreased even though it is obvious that the village has grown in size. This is because local authorities have changed the boundary.
