PLEASE NOTE – The bulletin board is not being used by members, possibly because it is perceived as difficult to use. As an alternative, residents can email comments to alphingtonforum@hotmail.com and these will be added to the comment page on the web site.
Welcome to the new interactive bulletin board for residents of Alphington. The bulletin board (members’ forum) has now completed its test stage and any Alphington resident who is a full member of Alphington Forum can now join. Email alphingtonforum@hotmail.com and we’ll give you a user name and password. If a lot of people apply it will take some time to register you.
Once you have your user name and password you can to log in to view the posts in the forum. Members can add posts by clicking on the category they wish to post in, and then clicking in the blue new topic box. Also members can reply to existing posts by clicking reply. Anyone having difficulty in using the bulletin board should email alphingtonforum@hotmail.com.
At present there is no charge to have access to the bulletin board, but an annual membership subscription is being introduced (see flyers for details) and access will be restricted to subscribers.
All posts to the bulletin board are automatically sent to alphingtonforum@hotmail.com, and can therefore, if desired, be easily emailed to the 140+ residents in the hotmail group, or the wider world.
We are now referring to bulletin board instead of members’ forum to avoid confusion with the main web site title.
